They’re holding a Wild Arms Million Memories livestream this August 31st that will reveal more info about the game. Its about time they finally release new info about it. Also, the Wild Arms Website has been updated.
Look, it super easy to be all pessimistic and think the game will be no different than other mobile trash on the market. Of course, hardcore fans like us want nothing but a full fledge console release from this series. We’ve all seen it with Breath of Fire 6, Suikoden, and Tales. Look how that turned out!
But the fact that they got the original team working on the first game to make this one must proof that there’s a genuine interest in this. Heck, Wild Arms was even featured in famitsu’s magazine section where fans get to choose which sequels or remakes they’d like to see and guess what? Wild ARMs came in 2nd.

Series creator, Akifumi Kaneko stated that the developers are focusing on staying true to the original aspects of Wild Arms and promise they won’t “destroy the memories of Wild Arms we played long ago.”
Series composer Michiko Naruke also have plans for the Wild Arms series. Other than returning to composing for the mobile game, she’s also doing other Wild arms related project like Score Re:Fire
This is not something that was put together on a whim. They’ve been teasing this for years, since 2014. Kaneko-san posted concept arts of the game in his twitter account.
Wild ARMS 5 and XF character designer, Tomomi Sasaki returned to draw that 20th anniversary poster.
Wild Arms is a very, very, VERY special game to me. I have very find memories growing up with the game, especially the 1st. It has shaped my whole life and I can’t even imagine how my life would be if I have never played it. I love this series too much to give up on it.
So, to fans who love this series, let’s at least hold our judgement till its finally out. As much as I love this series to death, there still an aspect that I’m not fond of *cough*WA4*cough*. Even if the game does suck, that doesn’t mean I hate it the series as a whole. 🙂
